We are finding out in History what happened in Britain since 1948. There are lots of different examples including cars, music, technology and telephones.

We are learning about Rivers and the Water Cycle too. We have each chosen a river to study. Some of the ones chosen are the Amazon, Nile, Mississippi, Thames and many more! Some people have chosen smaller rivers worldwide. We are learning the different parts of a river, like bank and mouth.

We have started a new Science topic of Sounds. We are learning about how they travel and what they can travel through. We are going to be making simple telephones and learning about sound waves.

We Have read the book The Midnight Fox by Betsy Byars. We have based most of our work around it including : making maps, writing poems and making up alternative endings for the book.
